(Senior) System Engineer

About the job

As a (senior) system engineer at Sencure, you will be responsible for defining the system architecture and overseeing and coordinating the design process for smart wearable devices using our SNCE800 IC.

Your Profile

  • You have 3+ years experience as a system engineer in Medical Device industry.
  • You have an affinity with electrophysiological measurements (EEG, EMG, ECG)
  • You have experience with evaluating and debugging designs.
  • You demonstrate good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • You are a self-motivated, efficient professional able to work alone or in teams.
  • Commitment to delivering quality and reliability to colleagues, customers, and management.
  • Effective communication skills and a willingness to share knowledge.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required, fluency in Dutch is a plus

Your Responsibilities

  • System Architecture: Define and develop system architecture that align with project requirements, performance goals, and industry standards.
  • Technical Leadership: Align strategic roadmap together with Management Team and provide input on timelines, dependencies, and required resources. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Requirement Management: Take the lead in discussions with customers to extract the use scenarios and user needs. Derive system requirements from these use scenarios and user needs and ensure requirement traceability and coverage of applicable standards.
  • Design and Development: Lead and participate in the design, development, and implementation for smart wearable devices using our SNCE800 IC. Including all aspects of mechanical, hardware, and software design.
  • Verification and Validation: Overseeing test plans and procedures for system verification and product validation to ensure compliance with customer requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Collaboration: Take the technical lead in cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and external developers, to ensure seamless integration of all sub-systems components into the overall system.
  • Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation, including architecture documentation.
